三元本有威儀俯仰之格三千四百條,龍漢之後,文多不備。今所出有二百四十條,此以末世不堪,故略不傳耳。論齋功德者,宋師舊舉六條,今家大明二種:一者極道,二者濟度。極道者,《洞神經》云:心齋坐忘,極道矣。濟度者,依經總有三籙七品。三籙者,一者金籙齋,上消天灾,保鎮帝王;二者玉籙齋,救度人民,請福謝過;三者黃籙齋,下拔地獄、九玄之苦。七品者,一者三皇齋,求仙保國;二者自然齋,修真齊道;三者上清齋,升虛入妙;四者指教齋,禳灾救疾;五者塗炭齋,悔過請命;六者明真齋,拔幽夜之魂;七者三元齋,謝三官之罪。此等諸齋,或一日一夜,或三日三夜,或七日七夜,具如儀軌。其外又有六齋、十直、甲子、庚申、八節、本命、百日、千日等齋,通用自然之法。其六齋月,正月、三月、五月、七月、九月、十一月也。又有三長齋月,即正月、七月,十月是也。十直者,月一日、八日、十四日、十五日、十八日、二十三日、二十四日、二十八日、二十九日、三十日是也。八節所謂,立春、春分、立夏、夏至、立秋、秋分、立冬、冬至。其諸齋日等,更不曲辯。
